Obstetrics and gynaecology consultation for

Antenatal care:

Motherhood is a pleasant experience in Woman’s life and we care to make it so. We recommend a standard schedule of ante-natal visits in case of normal / low risk pregnancy to be followed by would-be mothers.

Registration:

We advise to get registered for delivery, preferably by 6^th month of pregnancy. Varsha Joshi, a kind lady at reception counter will guide you for the same.

Admission process:

Admission process at our hospital is very simple, transparent and patient friendly. Mr. Prakash More a gentleman with helping nature looks after administrative and accounting procedures.

Vaccination:

We provide vaccination for prevention of cervical cancer for women up to 40 years of age. Rubella vaccine and seasonal vaccination for Swine flu is also available.

Nashik municipal corporation staff visits on alternate Wednesday for immunisation of new-born and infants and it is free of cost.

Family planning:

We, at Sankalecha hospital have a government approved family planning center.

Contraception advice is offered in individualized manner providing information about various methods of contraception available and guidance is given to make suitable choice of method by the couple/lady. Counselling for the same is done to clear all the doubts and questions the patient may have.

Male and Female sterilization operations are done by appropriate methods. Sankalecha hospital also has government recognised center for MTP (medical Termination of pregnancy)up to 20(twenty) weeks.

Consultation:

Dr. Chandrakant Sankalecha is available for consultation, every day from 11:00 AM to 03:00 PM and from Monday to Friday in the evening 06:00 PM to 08:00 PM only by appointment.

Dr. Bagul and Dr. Kanikar provide their services for OPD and IPD patients in absence of Dr. Sankalecha.

Experienced Paediatrician and Neonatologist are available on call.

Sonography:

We have a GE Logiq 5C premium machine for songraphy and colour doppler.

Dr. Pramita Lunawat, Radiologist with skill for accurate radio-diagnosis performs sonography in the afternoon and evening hours.

Pathology laboratory:

Collection of test samples is done by the trained staff and samples are transported safely.

Reports are made available in standard time

Physiotherapy:

A trained physiotherapist is made available on request by patient to provide training for post natal exercises.

Diet:

An expert opinion and guidance id made available on patient’s request for diet care especially in case of pregnancy with medical conditions such as diabetes, renal disorders & conditions such as PCOD.

Adolescent Clinic:

Girls in adolescent age group having menstrual disorders, obesity and other issues are treated and counselled in age appropriate manner
